To all those wondering what happened to Michael and Moses Shirk. A friend gave this adress. It is the story that was posted in the local newspaper where the crash happened. Please continue to pray for the Shirks, as they travel down this road. Also, please remember Michael’s fiancee Carla. There is alot of uncertainty but we must remember God is in control and He has his hand in this, whether we can see it now or not.
First of all, for all those who don’t see my counter on the right side of the site, here is the official announcement.
Next, our little man is now 8 months old and soooo…. big. What a wonderful blessing it is when he flashs that incredible smile my way, it is so worth the occasional tears and stresses. God is so good to us, and children truly are a blessing from the Lord.
(Psa 127:3-5 KJV) “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. {4} As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. {5} Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.”
YEAH!!! After months of planning and dodging the “bullet” the day finally came to surprise and celebrate Mom turning Fifty. My family did a great job in getting her fifty of something and in keeping it a secret. So…. here are some pictures.
This is my brother and my neice and their new puppy Rosso. He is a English Mastiff and Rot mix.
This is why it had to be down. The Before pictures…..
Getting ready to save a precious lock for the scrap book. I announced I can’t wait to have a little girl to pull her hair back. He looked so cute but, alas it needed to be cut off…. And then the process of evening everything out and getting rid of the pesky hair over the ears.
The finished product. It’s not perfect but it looks a lot better. He was very good and even thought he was helping by holding the cord.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. {30} And even the hairs of your head are all counted. {31} So do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.”(Mat 10:29-31 NRSV)
